The 1 Euro Cinema is a cinematic oracle curated by Telemagic. The installation randomly screens a movie if you insert a 1 euro coin. It features over 40 films made by Dutch and non-Dutch artists, revolving around themes such as tangible media, new social changes and invisible technology.
Telemagic is a Dutch collective of spiritual surfers (Cyanne van den Houten, Roos Groothuizen, Ymer Marinus) a lab that tries to make sense of the mysteries that revolve around digital technology. As self-called open medialab, they experiment with the future of media by creating manifestations and artistic interventions.
